John A. Osborne, MD Achieves Board Certification in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography
Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - The Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CBCCT), a not for profit organization established in 2007 of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, is pleased to announce that John A. Osborne, MD, of Grapevine, TX passed the certification examination in September 2008. Dr. Osborne is now entitled to designate himself as "Diplomate of the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography."
Dr. Osborne and Staff were photographed and interviewed by "Hot on! Health & Beauty" in which he so brilliantly spoke on many health related topics and mingled with his many patients to keep them informed and abreast of current related health issues, and guess who stopped by to say hello and shake a few hands? The Honorable House of Representative Vicky Truitt — District 98! It was a pleasure to see her and have her in attendance. On behalf of Dr. Allen Taylor, Program Director, the Content Development Board, SCCT and ACCF, thank you for agreeing to serve as a member of the presenting faculty for the above referenced program at Heart House in Washington, DC.
The Coronary CTA Practicum is a series of intensive three-day live courses and subsequent self study designed to train participants to perform and interpret coronary CT angiography with workstations provided by various companies, including GE, Philips, TeraRecon, Siemens and Toshiba\Vital Images. This particular course will be using Philips equipment.
This course includes advanced lectures, reading materials, formal case presentations and interaction on CCT workstations. Attendance is limited to 28 registrants per program. Three recognized leaders in the field, including the Program Director, will serve as presenting faculty.
